Air Fryer Honey BBQ Gammon
Serves 6-8 · 5 min prep · 65 min cook · 180°C air fryer
This air fryer honey BBQ glazed gammon is so easy and proper tasty. It's one of those recipes that looks like you've made loads of effort, but it's actually just a gammon joint, a quick glaze and the air fryer doing the work.
The fat gets scored first, then the gammon cooks until hot all the way through before being brushed with honey and BBQ sauce. It finishes sticky, golden and so good.
It's perfect with chips, eggs, salad, mash, picky bits, sandwiches the next day, or as part of a Christmas spread.

How do I know when gammon is cooked?
Gammon is cooked when it is piping hot all the way through. If you're using a meat thermometer, check the thickest part of the joint. It should reach 70°C for 2 minutes, or 75°C for 30 seconds.
If it needs longer, pop it back in the air fryer for another 5-10 minutes and check again.
Can I use a smaller gammon joint?
Yes. A smaller 750g gammon joint will usually take closer to 20 minutes each side, then glaze and finish until sticky and golden.
Larger joints will need longer, so always check the thickest part before serving.
